Meredith Mejerle Rush

Meredith Mejerle Rush is a contemporary botanical artist living and working in Athens, Georgia. After receiving her BFA in Art from The University of Georgia, Meredith spent the next five years surrounding herself with flowers and other natural elements curating and composing unique compositions in a three dimensional matter. Her time spent studying the organic lines within floral compositions inspired her to begin creating abstract and minimal line drawings--layering colors, lines and textures as if each composition was a landscape within itself. Today her art focuses on capturing the movement and intimate details in the natural world to represent brief moments in time.
